This notice informs you, in compliance with the above regulation, that in relation to the relationship you have with our organization, our organization holds some personal data relating to you.
According to the GDPR, as this data is information relating to you, it qualifies as “personal data” and therefore benefits from the protection provided by the regulation. Specifically, according to the regulation, you are the data subject who benefits from the rights established to protect your personal data.
Pursuant to Articles 12 et seq. GDPR, our organization, as the Data Controller, will process the personal data you provide in compliance with the law, with the utmost care, implementing effective procedures and management processes to ensure the protection of your personal data.
To this end, the undersigned, using physical and management procedures to safeguard the collected data, undertakes to protect the information provided to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, maintain data accuracy, and ensure appropriate use.

This notice does not apply to other websites that may be accessed via links on the websites under the controller’s domain, for which the controller cannot be held responsible in any way.

2. Types of Data Processed
2.1 Personal and identification data.
Personal data: any information concerning an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”); a person is considered identifiable if they can be identified, directly or indirectly.
Identification data: personal data that allows the direct identification of the data subject (for example, name, surname, email address, address, phone number, etc.).
2.2 Browsing Data
The IT systems and software procedures used for the operation of this website acquire, during their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This includes IP addresses, domain names, URI addresses of requested resources, time of the request, method used to submit the request to the server, and parameters related to the user’s operating system.
2.3 Legal Defense
User personal data may be used for defense by the controller in legal proceedings or in the preparatory stages of such proceedings.

User personal data may be processed for additional purposes related to system maintenance.
2.5 Data Voluntarily Provided by the User
Filling out the subscription form for the Mathematical Intelligence Manifesto involves collecting name, surname, professional role, institution, and email address.

3. Purpose of Processing
Personal data voluntarily provided will be processed for the following purposes:
website navigation;
requests for contact and sending requested information;
management of subscription to the Mathematical Intelligence Manifesto, including publication of name, role, and institution among signatories;
sending communications, notices, newsletters, or invitations to events related to the activities of the Manifesto, only with prior consent.
4. Legal Basis of Processing
Consent of the data subject (Art. 6, par. 1, lett. a GDPR), expressed through the selection of the relevant checkboxes in the form.
5. Processing Methods and Retention
Data is processed through paper and IT tools with methods suitable to ensure security and confidentiality.
Data published in the list of signatories of the Manifesto will remain visible online for the entire duration of the initiative, unless consent is withdrawn.
6. Scope of Communication and Dissemination
Data is not disseminated.
Data may be communicated to IT service providers, competent authorities, or professionals involved in the projects.
7. Nature of Data Provision
Providing data for navigation is automatic.
Providing data in forms is optional but necessary to provide the requested services.
8. Transfer of Data Outside the EEA
No transfer of data to countries outside the European Economic Area is planned.
9. Rights of Data Subjects
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection.
